What we do
The ACT Community Arts Office is a first point of call for individuals and organisations needing information and/or support to access arts opportunities in Canberra.
Focusing on three priority groups:
- Indigenous
- Disability and disadvantage
- Multicultural.
Our aim is to assist individuals and groups to produce, perform, exhibit, promote and enjoy art in all its forms.
We offer a range of services, including:
- Advocacy for inclusion and diversity in the arts
- Mentoring of individuals and groups
- Assistance developing projects and seeking funding
- Assistance with the preparation of funding applications and the auspicing of grants
- Advice and information about arts and cultural issues
- Facilitation of partnerships and networks that create opportunities for art activities
- Promotion of arts activities and opportunities.
